BACKGROUND:
Bright Minds RVA is a non-profit program created by Bernice Travers and Fleming Samuels, offering activities that encourage “at-risk” teens to develop skills that can be applied to real-life experiences.
As a part of the 2022 Create-A-Thon, our first round of creative work was completed during the 24-hour event, and in the four weeks following, was developed based on what we were unable to accomplish in the event’s time frame and client feedback.

MOODBOARD:
Across all channels, we wanted to perfectly encapsulate a blend of professionalism while still appealing to today’s teens.
Oliva Rodrigo’s album “Sour” had a huge cultural impact when it was released in May 2021. The marketing & art surrounding its release - filled with stickers, glitter, and embellishments - embodied the look and feel of being a teen, becoming the perfect visual inspiration for Bright Minds.
